The Soul tradition
A Mist Soul turns the boundary between presence and absence into a lived experience. The bearer feels the world in currents, pressure, and the moisture hanging unseen in the air. Cloud forms, concealing shrouds, and drifting doubles make pursuit uncertain, while a remembered outline can remain in an opponent's attention after the person has moved away. Mist bearers are often drawn to dawn harbors, cool passages, and weather just before it changes.
Some keep secrets with exceptional care; others find secrecy exhausting and value companions who always know where they stand. Becoming difficult to grasp can make a dependable relationship especially precious. On the track, Mist favors evasion, escape, and control of space. It can support a team through concealment or create an unexpected angle of approach through air-current movement.
Wind and obscured sight also demand coordination. Blue and Black are the Soul's colors, while the character's physical Body remains the form to which its changing presence belongs.
One field, not an extra body
An Oversoul occupies the Soul choice instead of an ordinary Race Soul. Multiple compatible colors still describe one slot holding one ability. Its imagery does not automatically replace the Body, add limbs, or grant all its named powers.
