(poem) [Wrong Lesson]
She smiled and I felt flutters.
Her eyes sparkled when she laughed.
I glimpsed our future with each other.
Happiness first. Then the shaft.
I know this feeling well; the nerves.
No matter how her uniform fits those curves.
I keep to myself and continue my routine.
Butterflies? I ignore them. I know what they mean.
Three times in a row; never again.
Flutters are just a heartache waiting to happen.
