THE MOMENT
"Since you were asking about the Redline girls, Bijou has decided to share relevant information. 70 is quite a few, and we'd like to ensure each of them has an opportunity to visit the school." Joy smiled as she sat down. She was addressing Ozone mostly, but she also took opportunities to acknowledge his assistant, Andie, who was sitting in on the meeting. They were in his beachside office, with the windows letting a gentle breeze flow through the space, carrying in the sound of waves. "So far you've met Redline Express, Aide, Trickster, and Widow. I'm going to assume you know Bijou's status as Redline Legend," she smiled and gestured at herself. "I'm Redline Parade, and that's not even 1/10th of the full lineup."
"Perfect," Ozone grinned. "She told me there was one for each of the 70 Unique Souls, but that left me wondering about a few of them...," he said.
"The Inanimates," Joy nodded with a smile on her part, too. "I get a lot of questions about them. It's been a surprising chore when offering Magical Girl services. People love to ask, 'A Magical Girl with a magical barrel? A magic flag? It's actually fun watching them grasp the possibilities when I explain what Redline Cooper and Redline Colorguard can do.
"So, not a barrel in a skirt?" Ozone asked with a smirk. "Got it, the Redline girl assigned to that spot uses the Inanimate as part of their combat abilities, right?" Joy nodded, and Ozone continued.
"Las Jarras uses arrows, so... Redline... Fletcher?" He asked. Joy shook her head and corrected him.
"Redline Archer."
"The bonnet holder would be... Redline... Hood? Hoodlum?" he laughed.
"Redline Redcap," Joy replied.
"If it's just their titles, and I'm assuming names, that can be a list handed to Andie," Ozone nodded. But it is fun to guess; I'm curious about one more. La Bota is a magical boot, so its holder would be Magical Girl Redline... Stepper?"
"Redline Kicker," Joy smiled.
"Yeah, I'm not gonna guess wrong for all of them, just give Andie the list. Was there anything else?" Ozone asked. The whole meeting could've been an e-mail directly to Andie.
"Bijou wanted to affirm that none of the Redline girls who start attending the school are eligible for Mechas. It's not just Brooke who's locked out."
"I figured," Ozone nodded. Now the meeting made sense. It was an important enough communication that she didn't want to risk any misunderstandings.
"List received, Ms. Joy," Andie spoke up, and Joy nodded.
"Thank you, Andie," Joy smiled and stood up. "Unless you have more guesses, I believe that's everything," she said.
"There's a magical girl that uses a never ending pitcher, and her name is... Magical Girl Redline ... Carafe!" Ozone said.
Joy smiled and shook her head as she walked into a black portal.
"That's actually one of my favorites," she laughed. "Redline Jug band."
